I gotta clear something up :)
It's Shockspital... Shock + Hospital = Shockspital. It is like a hospital, but for shocks. I hope this helps Jeremy.
I work on Stratos Shocks, RockShox, Manitou, Progressive, HOPE, Magura, Marzocchi, PACE, White Brothers, Hayes, Avid, Maverick, Fox and Headshocks.
I work on old stuff and new stuff, I buy a lot of old parts from shops so they don't have to have old parts lying around for another decade.
I repair, overhaul and tune.
I repair and rebuild disc brakes.
I also work on older, higher end RST stuff, like the Mozo Pro and the Mozo XXL.
( I have also been known to do a mean overhaul on 3 speed hubs!)
I started the Shock Treatment Center at QBP and ran that service center until last October when I decided I wanted to work direct with the consumer (that's you).
I have worked with everyone over the years. When I lived in Pittsburgh I spent a lot of time working on Headshocks. I even fixed the Moto FR on Maurice's tandem out at Dirt Rag. I trained a Cannondale and spent a lot of time rebuilding AMP dampers also.
That was a long time ago. Since then I have trained with PACE, Manitou (I can pick Bobby Acuna out of a line up) and Rockshox (Hercules trained me before he even had the cushy STU gig).
I have spent many chilly, windy days working Sea Otter in the back of the Progressive Factory truck while Larry made Taco's on the grill. I own a White Brothers tool kit and I know how to use it!
I have seen Ronnie's office and I know just how clean his work bench is out at Marzocchi.
And I have spent some of my best days working with Hayes at the races.
I could go on but I really just want to let you know I know how to fix what you got. I have been around and I have spent years learning how to fix your bike. Now is the first chance I have gotten to do it. I am on my own and I can work for you directly.
Shockspital pays the return shipping on repairs sent to me.
I have two cats.
Because I love to fix things.
Those some answers to questions I have gotten. You can always ask me questions at brose@Shockspital.com . Anyday now the new webpage will launch, there will be a lot more information there. YOU have to come back, it will be awesome!!
PS I am terrible at spelling.
