Shockspital Approved

  Here in Minneapolis there has been a lot of late night crime and Mugging on the Green Way (our bicycle highway through town).  Riding at night always has  a measure of risk along with it. But on the Greenway it is really easy to find yourself in the dark very isolated from the world around you.

  Years ago when I lived in Pittsburgh I had a nightrider light with red and blue lens covers. If you were riding down an alley alone and there was a suspicious group ahead of you you just needed to turn on the red and blue lights and they would clear a path.

  So I ordered some red and blue blinky lights. Here is a picture of what the blinking looks like.

These lights have 6 super bright LEDs (3red and 3blue) and a nice clip on mount (some adaptation would be needed to mount on a handlebar but a velcro strap would do the trick).
